Graham Stuart Staines was the Australian missionary who was burnt to death along with his two sons Philip, aged nine and Timothy aged seven while sleeping in his station wagon at Manoharpur village in Keonjhar district in Orissa, India in January 1999. Graham Staines had been working in Orissa among the tribal poor and especially with leprosy patients since 1965. He spoke fluent Oriya and was very popular among the patients whom he used to help after they were cured. He used to teach them how to make mats out of rope and basket from saboigrass and hand weaving. The widow of Graham Staines, Gladys has said the perpetrators of the crime should be forgiven. "I've no hatred for anyone. "I've no anger," Mrs. Gladys Staines responded."

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up... To more than I can be.

When Esther Gulshan Fatima, a devout Pakistani Muslim girl, was six months old, typhoid left her a cripple. Her loving father took her from Pakistan to England to find a cure, but the only hope the British specialist could offer was prayer. Gulshan and her father made a pilgrimage to Mecca and begged Allah for healing . . . . As Gulshan began reading the Quran, her interest in Jesus grew, until one amazing night Jesus appeared to her in her bedroom in a blaze of light. Jesus restored her crippled arm and leg and taught her 'The Lords Prayer'. Jesus told her to go to his people now and tell them what he had done. Since that time, and to this day, Esther Gulshan Fatima has been a joyous, obedient disciple of Christ. Gulshan Esther now lives in Oxford, England. The Torn Veil has sold over 200,000 copies.

As a believer of true love and a lover of life, I perceive copulation as a holy and a sacred act. It is a God glorifying act that celebrates the covenant of marriage which is the physical and spiritual union of two monogamous individuals. It is a pure and powerful act that strengthens the relationship and it is well known among married couples that a good sex life is essential for a healthy relationship that is edifying to the two individuals. Sex is the act that consummates the marriage. It unites and cleaves the two individuals together that they shall metaphysically become one flesh. Read on as Rajwin Singh, a single guy researches and writes about "Sex" a taboo subject to most South Asians!
