Prophet T.B. Joshua, popularly known as ‘The Man In The Synagogue’ is the Founder and General Overseer of the Synagogue, Church of all Nations, Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa with branches all over the world. He is 43 years of age and is married to Evelyn and they have 3 children. His congregation of more than 20,000 members comprises of national and international worshippers. There is not enough space to record the miraculous demonstration of God’s power.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, believes that the Book of Acts is not mere history; it is the pattern of what Christ wants His Church to be today. “…And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:47). Because of the increase in worshippers, God Almighty instructed the man of God to begin the construction of a mighty cathedral that would reflect His splendor and house the multitudes. As it was, so it is. As the synagogue of old was born of communal effort, so also is The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations.

God has used the prophet mightily to bring about salvation, deliverance, healing and the manifestation of God’s supernatural powers to multitudes around the globe. They include the healing of HIV / AIDS, cancer and barrenness; deliverance from demonic spirits; restoration of sight to the blind, life to the limbs of the crippled, and many others. This phenomenon has been made possible because the prophet is totally dependent upon the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the power of the Name and the Blood of Jesus.

It is time for the Church in Singapore to rise and hear what the Spirit is saying!

In 2003 while in New Zealand, I was shown a video featuring the healings performed by Prophet T.B. Joshua. I was astonished at the power being released to heal almost instantly medical “no- hopers” like Aids and Cancer patients. I asked the Lord to open a way for me to meet this man. Three years later, I had the privilege to meet him personally in Australia, see the miracles and discern in the Spirit his ministry. I felt no hesitation and took the opportunity to invite him to Singapore.

Recently in the month of July 2006, I visited Prophet T.B. Joshua in Lagos with nine other ministers. We were further blessed by his teachings, prayer ministry, healing ministry and his accurate Word of Knowledge.

The Lord began to show me that the supernatural dimension, power dimension and the prophetic dimension for the Singapore Church needs to be restored. Then the Lord spoke to me through II Kings 4:1-7. The widow of the prophet did three things that brought restoration in her life:
  1. She understood her present condition.
  2. She cried to Prophet Elisha.
  3. She obeyed the Prophet and received supernatural providence.

1. The Church (widow) must understand her present condition.
We need to realise that the power dimension of the Church is weak (very little oil). We are good in providing strategies, systems, teaching and methods but not powerful in connecting in the Spirit with God. The demonic realm is still strong over our nation. Good Christians are dying of cancer. We may have the crowd, money, buildings but very little power (oil) in the Spirit dimension.

2. The Church must connect with the Spirit dimension / Prophetic dimension of God.
The widow cried to Prophet Elisha for help. The Word of the Lord came for her. The Word of the Lord has power to impact and transform nations. Prophet T.B. Joshua said that the Singapore Church must acknowledge her weakness and cry out to God for mercy and favour.

You shall rise and have mercy on Zion (Singapore); For the time to favour her, Yes, the SET TIME has come. Psalms 102:13

It is time also that we recognize our own prophets, nurture them, mentor them and release them into their destinies (Matthew 10:41). God is giving grace to our leaders to rise in the Spirit and cripple controlling spirits that reign over this region. Church, we have come to our “Kairos” time in prayer to draw power for the supernatural.

3. The Church must respond to the prophetic word for the coming Phenomenal Harvest (Amos 9:13).
The widow started filling all the jars with the little oil and found there were no more jars left. As we enter into the supernatural, ruling spirits are going to be crippled , supernatural healing and harvest will take place.

I believe that God has raised Prophet T.B. Joshua for such a time like this to create a spark in the spiritual realm to break the strong spirits that have brought deception and will usher in a healing explosion in our nation.

Let us prepare all our jars and bring in as many as we can for a phenomenal harvest in our nation that will trigger a power encounter to fulfill our Antioch call to the nations.

Together with the Board of Advisors , Steering Committee of the National Healing Campaign and all organising churches, let us cry out for His mercy and favour over our nation.
