Beyond the Cross
You're the Potter and I am the clay in Your Hands.
You're the Master and I your servant my dear Lord
Often I prayed to You
Make and mold me after You.
My dear Lord, I long to be like you my hero, Jesus
But you answer me in a way I did not expect of You.
I'm in pain and full of sorrows
My dear Lord, why is this so?
But as I look toward You
John 12 tells me this
Your soul was troubled and you said in verse 27
Father save from this hour
“For this purpose, Ihave come
Father, Glorify Your Name”
O what words, i cannot fathom
But to You, I yield again
You are such an example, My dear Lord, You lead the way
Once again in this suffering
I submit my will to You
I surrender to You, my all, my everything
You are wise beyond all measure
I trust in Your ways
Right now, I marvel at You
You looked beyond the Cross (Repeat)
Despising the shame
And right now
You sit down at the right hand throne of God 's Mercy
This, my Bible tells me so.
First time! Writing a song. God is good.

That was beautiful and just what I needed. God led me to this page.
Thanks for doing the work of the Lord.
