The quality of our programming and publication must change. We need quality. We need world-class production values. Most importantly, we need creativity. We need a committed and creative work force that will think differently to get the collective attentions of Christians and non-Christians around the world. This applies to both the visual and print media. There is a need for a modern, young and vibrant language. And let’s not preach to the young. We resent it. Instead utilize us. Today Christians, especially the youth, are confronted with enormous pressure from the surrounding culture, be it friends, college, work, play and at times even family. Take a good look around you. Watch, listen, and absorb what you see. Magazine ads fostering greed and self indulgence, television ridiculing g values, movies assaulting us and last but not the least, our friends – a great deal of pressure from them. Is the Christian youth handling all this with the confidence that the Lord is with them? Or are they just succumbing to them? Let’s take a brief look.
