Hope for India Ministries is an apostolic ministry to the Body of
Christ, born out of a vision given to a few people of God who had
assembled for prayers with a great burden in their hearts for their
fellow countrymen during the month of January 2007 in the capital city
of Delhi.According to an apostolic and prophetic vision given to us by the Holy Spirit, this ministry reaches out to the millions of people in India who live in slums and villages not reached by the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus and plants New Testament churches in these places.We extend help to the poor saints and to the downtrodden in societies. We provide opportunities for all the people of God to serve in His vineyard. We lay emphasis on the gift of prophecy for the edification of the Church. We do evangelism in those places and villages not reached by the gospel of Christ.

My name is Birender Kumar. I am 29 and in the prime of my life. I heard the call of God to serve amongst the poorest of the poor in a slum colony in Delhi. An observer writers: "With very great difficulties, we entered
the hutments to meet a dear servant of
God, namely, Birender Kumar, who has his wife, three young children and
aged father all living in a single-room hut which lacks all basic amenities. During the rainy season, the rainy water enters their
living room . . . If
they have to answer the call of nature, they have to go to the open
space, preferably under the cover of darkness. In this hut, this
servant of God lives happily and ministers to the
people in his neighborhood. Birender is found in the center of God's will for his life."
