Wilson, a Malayalee Christian holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University and his mission is to make Scripture relevant to today's generation. Famous quote: "Knock it off!"
So often we can think that we need a big audience or world fame to have an impact for Chirst. It is easy to think this way when we look at Jesus' life. There were moments when there were multitudes, "Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan." (Matthew 4:25)
But that is not necessarily the case. It can be found in the small things like being a responsible husband or a faithful wife or even a loving son. What does the Bible say? What does God value?
"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven." (Matthew 6:1)
But there were moments of isolation as well, "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." (Luke 5:16)
Prayer can be private and impactual. It is true because, after all, Jesus did it.
It is also found in being faithful in the small things, "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things..." (Matthew 25:23)
