Compliments!

Benita Joy is a Malayalee Christian and serves as the Chief Editor for South Asian Connection. She is a woman of faith, gifted in the area of leadership and administration, and has a heart for world missions. She loves big cities, chai, the internet, roller coasters, international cuisines, music, and hanging out with friends. She is the youngest member of Team SAC, plays guitar with a baby pink pick (Yikes!), and she's not much taller than your average dwarf (don't tell her that).
Sometimes, compliments are nice.
Grande with whip and chocolate drizzle mocha frappuccino (a regular) commented that I had a very beautiful face today. I smiled and thanked her awkwardly.
Doppio espresso (another regular) hasn't given up yet. He's been asking me out for nearly two months now. Today, along with commenting on how beautiful my eyes were, he told me I was a woman of grace. I suspect he's a nice man. But he must be nearly forty and I'm not looking for anyone.
And this might not actually be a compliment, I'm not sure yet. But it helped me learn something about myself which was nice. My manager told me I had a very dry sense of humor. To be honest, I'm not completely sure what that means. I'll have to go look that up.
Work is work. I kinda want to go back to working on commission instead of this fixed rate business. When I have more energy, we shall revisit this thought...
