Lost in the wonder…caught in the moment
As life, love and being…stop
Eyes are lost in a gaze
Mouths wide open in a grin
Hands directing a symphony
As body and soul unite in rapture
I saw a flamingo the other day
Pink, long-necked, spots of white
Beauty…sheer beauty…I’m amazed

It remains a wondrous mystery to me
The details of creation seem a bit hazy
How did my God create such wonders?
What schools did God learn such art?
I am reminded of the great wisdom
I am reminded of the great understanding
I am reminded of such extravagant love
I’m lost in the wonder…caught in the moment
As life, love and being…stop
