Benita Joy is a Malayalee Christian and serves as the Chief Editor for South Asian Connection. She is a woman of faith, gifted in the area of leadership and administration, and has a heart for world missions. Her desire is to live a life that is pure and to serve God's purposes in her generation. Benita is pursuing a double major in English and Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She loves big cities, chai, the internet, roller coasters, international cuisines, music, and hanging out with friends. She is the youngest member of Team SAC, plays guitar with a baby pink pick (Yikes!), and she's not much taller than your average dwarf (don't tell her that).
2. Going to be helping out with PCNAK... yeah I know, crazy aye? Not exactly my scene... I suppose we'll see how things go. I'm basically working with another guy to organize an after-party for somewhere between 1000 to 1500 young people--all Malayalee and all Pentecostal. I'll leave it at that...
3. Getting settled here has been taking so long... and it's been so busy! We're still opening boxes. Had some furniture delivered today. And to think I was supposed to be in India by now...
4. It's been forever since I hung out with friends and people I'm comfortable with and just had a good time. I'm still me... just a little lost I guess.
5. My new phone is crazy! It's a Sony Ericsson W580i. It's a phone with a camera, video camera, sound recorder, mp3 player, FM radio, and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm still figuring out.
