"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

That's what we at South Asian Connection (SAC) desire to do over the next few weeks and months, to carve a path through relatively uncharted territory, to mark a trail through the wilderness, to test the waters, to part the seas and bring down fire from Heaven…you're probably thinking okay okay enough with the verbal onslaught!

So let me introduce myself - I'm Beni. Here at SAC, I'm Senior Editor, a rather hefty title I must admit. I'm definitely "editor" but not very "senior." At the ripe young age of 20, I have my whole life ahead of me (or so they say)! Being a young adult is an interesting period in anyone's life. You're getting educated, learning to be independent, and forming many of the opinions which you'll carry with you the rest of your life.

Sounds pretty exciting doesn't it? Which brings us to why we (SAC) exist. I wasn't exactly kidding about all that stuff I said earlier. SAC is a relatively new and fresh idea straight from the heart of God. We believe in being REAL and relevant to our Generation, unafraid to tackle the complicated issues of our time and culture with the standards outlined in the Bible. SAC will be a portal for young South Asians all over the world to have a place on the web where they can connect and find God-thoughts for their lives. So make sure you keep visiting back. And if you have any comments/suggestions, I would love to hear from you!
