Though the battles rage within me
I will trust…I will trust
Though my understanding fails me
I will trust…I will trust
The air is ripe for an epic moment or circumstance
Will you stand and face the heat and wind and desolation?
The feeling’s ready for you to take a jump
Will you give everything to the cause which you have taken?
Wanderlust keeps this serendipitous occasion aground
And lost in the wonder is the question of “Really?”
Spirit seeks to quell the fear of unintended emotion
And quiet in reflection as soul says “Okay…”
