Bhupinder Singh was born & brought up in India and moved to Canada in 1996. He is an Information Technology professional and presently works in a major Canadian Bank as the technical head of the teams that designed & develop new Banking software. Being a brilliant student, he achieved top scholarship & awards during his academic career. He comes from a devout Sikhi background - reading, meditating & following Sikh scriptures daily. However, a mighty encounter of his wife with the Lord Jesus Christ changed the life of this couple. They accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and started studying the Bible. “Ever since then, my life has changed completely”, says Bhupinder – (2 Corinthian 5: 17- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!) Now my only desire is to serve my Lord - to know Him more & more. We are working in our social circle & South Asian Communities to bring lost souls to the Lord”, says Bhupinder.
There was this holy man that was taking bath in a river. He saw a scorpion floundering around in the water. He decided to save it. So he stretched out his hand to pick up the scorpion but the scorpion stung him.
The holy man again tried to get the scorpion out of the water but the scorpion stung him again.
This went on for several time.
A man was standing nearby and saw what was happening. He told the holy man to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging him.
The holy man asked, "Do you know why the scorpion stung me?"
The man said: "It is the nature of the scorpion to sting."
The holy man answered, "It is my nature to love. If a small insect like a scorpion does not give up his nature, why should I give up my nature? Should I give up loving other because they hurt me?"
Don't give up loving.
Don't give up your goodness.
Even if people around you sting.
