Wilson is the youth leader at International Punjabi Masihi Church in Vancouver, Canada. Everyone loves this radical preacher's passion for Christ and His Church. Wilson helped organize the South Asian Global Convention (SAGC 2004) under the leadership of Pastor Pritam Singh. He is as "hairy-as-a-yak," "spits-like-a-camel," and is a F.A.T. (Faithful, Available, and Teachable) Christian. Wilson, a Malayalee Christian holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University and his mission is to make Scripture relevant to today's generation. Famous quote: "Knock it off!"
There are times to reflect, unwind and recollect a bigger and bolder vision. These are the times you ask the deeper questions of life and want to take on new challenges and make some new beginnings. What else is out there? What more can there be? Where do I begin? How do I fit in the grand scheme of things? It is great to share with some friends...
Not many people have the luxury of friends. The narrower this path gets, the more suspicious things become. It seems everyone has a hidden agenda and are not afraid to make you feel used. It is easy to feel delusioned, traumatized and bitter. But really what is the point of all that. You just become miserable and expect everyone else to feel the same way as you. This isn't the ministry of Christ.
So take some time to unwind and drink in the scenery and take nothing personal. Afterall we are in a battle of a life time! It rages on. Everything is at stake. We may look foolish to the world but it is worth it all. In the meantime my prayer is:
"Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle." (Psalm 144:1)
