TRAVEL

Q. How do I get to the Convention venue?
A. The nearest Tube (subway) to MPCC is East Ham. From here you will need to take a bus to Manor Park Christian Centre. The journey from Heathrow or Gatwick Airport to Manor Park Christian Centre by public transport will take around 2 hours, involving several changes of train lines and then a bus.

Q. How do I travel around in London?
A. For more information on how to get around in London, please visit www.thetube.com

Q. Will there be anyone to receive us at the airport?
A. The answer is No. London's Heathrow and Gatwick Airport is huge with many terminals. Furthermore delegates arrive at different times of the day. We suggest that you make your own way from the Airport terminals to the London Underground and ask for directions to East Ham Station.

Q Have you got any advice for me?
A. Yes, and here are some.
1. Please arrive at least a day early if you are traveling from an international destination to London.
2. We strongly recommended that you do not arrive on the morning of the Convention.
3. If you are traveling by public transportation in the London Underground also known as the Tube, carry a small suitcase with wheels. The key: Travel light.
4. Be prepared to pay about £7 for a whole day travel pass. Ouch! That’s expensive!!! Welcome to London (:
5. Take care of your personal belongings. Beware of pick-pockets!
